"A Facial Plastic Surgeon’s Surgeon"
Today, his expertise as a surgeon and his track record of patient successes have gained him a significant reputation among peers and patients, alike, for his dedication to excellence and his aesthetic sense, especially related to rhinoplasty (nasal reconstruction and reshaping) and facial rejuvenation (including face, brow and eye lifts and other advanced minimally invasive anti-aging techniques). As an invited member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to serve on both the written board review committee and to serve as an oral board examiner, Dr. Schoenfeld is truly at the forefront of the newest proven technologies and techniques available for facial plastic surgery. In addition, he is the Associate Clinic Professor of Surgery for Georgetown University School of Medicine and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Dr. Schoenfeld’s sensitivity to the dramatic consequences arising from head and neck problems ranging from cancer to facial traumas and cosmetic concerns has been a driving force in shaping his career. He believes strongly in the life changing, positive impact of aesthetic procedures, particularly of the face, where it is difficult to disguise deformity. From his earliest years in medical school and in his on-going philanthropic work he has witnessed countless examples of the importance of looking your personal best and the impact appearance has on self-esteem and personal growth. Dr. Schoenfeld participates in the American Board of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery’s Face to Face program providing free care for the victims of disfiguring domestic violence.
