Renu MedSpa's pain-free laser hair removal is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure in which a low-energy laser is used to permanently reduce unwanted hair on the body, including the face, back, neck, legs, bikini line, chest and underarms. PPx Therapy is a breakthrough hair removal treatment that uses a revolutionary combination of broadband light and pneumatic energy. Treatment is safe, painless and effective. During treatment, a hygienic tip gently draws the treatment area into a handpiece, creating a ‘pulling up’ motion that draws the unwanted hair closer to the skin’s surface. Light energy is applied to the targeted hair and converted to heat energy. Once the energy is absorbed by the hair, it is effectively destroyed in a quick and painless manner.
PPx treatment is different from other laser- and light-based hair removal treatments because it is the first and only therapy that effectively combines broadband light with pneumatic energy. PPx delivers energy to the unwanted hair five times faster than other treatments, allowing for just a fraction of the energy of other treatments to be used.
