I’ve been debating between Dysport and Botox injections. They seem to be pretty similar as far as results go. I did notice, however, that Dysport is typically cheaper than Botox. Why is this?
The price of Dysport is usually a little less than the price of Botox for two reasons. The first is that the manufacturer of Dysport charges the provider less for the product and their are more treatments in each vial of Dysport then there are in a vial of Botox. The second reason why you have found Dysport to be less expensive than Botox is that the manufacturer of Dysport has been very pro active in getting patients to try their product by offering generous rebates for trying Dysport. These rebates on Dysport is in addition to the already lower price your provider is charging for each Dysport treatment.
