Although you will not likely feel to bad following upper and lower eyelid surgery, the swelling and bruising from blepharoplasty can last some time. I would suggest taking at least a week off from work but, depending upon the type of blepharoplasty you have and your comfort level with showing up to work with bruising, you may need an extra few days before make up will conceal your blepharoplasty surgical result.
