Can local anesthesia be combined with a brow lift surgery?

Question :
I’d like to have my brow lift performed with local anesthesia. Can this be combined with sedation?

Answer :
I frequently perform brow lift surgery with the use of local anesthesia and mild sedation. The procedure will take about an hour and with the use of sedation the only part of the procedure which may be uncomfortable is the injection of local anesthesia, which would only be at the beginning of the case.
