Mini facelifts are extremely effective in properly selected patients. I spend a great deal of time with my patients counseling them about what they can expect as a result from a mini facelift, what areas of the face the mini facelift is specifically designed to achieve, and the how long the results of a mini facelift will last. Traditionally, the mini facelift is most effective on younger individuals who have maintained most of their skin elasticity who are concerned with sagging of their jowls and to some extent, mild sagging of the skin of the neck. The mini facelift is a fabulous procedure because it delivers on surgical results with less recovery time than traditional facelift surgery.
