The hair removal laser works best on the hair follicle when the hair follicle is in its most rapid growth phase. Not all hair follicles are on the same cycle and therefore a 6 week hair removal treatment cycle seems to catch the majority of hair follicles in their growth phase after about 5 or 6 treatments.
