I live about an hour north of you. How long and how often after my facelift surgery will I need to come back in for checkups?
Answer :
I treat many patients from out of town for facelift procedures. I like to keep any patient who has a facelift within an hour’s drive the first day after the procedure as if any complications should occur, they will likely occur within the first 24 hours following your facelift. I change the dressing on the first post facelift day and then remove the stitches on day 6 following your facelift. I like to see you back in about two weeks after that and then a few months later. Obviously, if you should have any questions or concerns you are always welcome back to my office at any time.
