I am female with a heavy beard on the underside of my chin going down into my neck. Shaving there gives me terrible rashes and many ingrown hairs. It is always irritated and uncomfortable. Would laser hair removal be able to get those ingrown hairs?

Laser hair removal is absolutely indicated for the treatment of this area. The hair underneath your chin tends to be very thick and coarse and it may take several laser hair removal treatments to reduce the hair growth however, it is absolutely the approach I would use if you are currently shaving this area. The laser hair removal procedure is quite comfortable compared to shaving and the potential for skin irritation.
