I want lip augmentation via injectable fillers. I am most interested in hyaluronic acid fillers. After the injections, will my lips swell and, if so, for how long? Will my lips feel soft and natural or does the filler make them somewhat harder?
Answer:
The hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane, and Juvederm are excellent choices to use in lip augmentation. The hyaluronic acid filler injections result in a very soft and natural feeling lip. The results of filler augmentation to the lips are immediate and the swelling that you will have is short lasting. Bruising and swelling are, however, the two most common complications that can arise from the use of hyaluronic acid filler for lip augmentation.
