Question:
I’m 23, female, and I don’t like the way my nose looks. My nasal tip is very wide while my bridge is very narrow, making me look like I have a turnip for a nose! Could dermal fillers used for a non-surgical nose job widen my bridge enough so that it looks more proportionate and attractive?
Answer:
Dermal fillers can be used for non-surgical nose jobs. What your surgeon decides to do with the dermal fillers in order to improve the appearance of your nose is a decision that you and your surgeon will have to make. I am not certain that I would suggest a non-surgical rhinoplasty to widen a narrow nose to meet the width of your nasal tip. You may be better off seeking an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and having them suggest to you ways in which you can permanently narrow and sculpt your tip and also widen the nasal bridge if it is too narrow. In situations where one side of the nasal bridge appears concave, dermal fillers are a good choice to easily remedy this situation, but, bilateral nasal bridge widening is likely better approached surgically.
