Would getting a facelift have any effect on the frown lines around my mouth? If not, are there any procedures that could be done in addition to a facelift that would eliminate frown lines?
Frown lines or “marrionette lines” are best treated with either a facelift or a mini facelift. Facelift procedures are designed to elevate the jowls which decreases the appearance of the frown lines. Injection of dermal fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane as an in office procedure is also a good alternative to a facelift to decrease the appearance of your frown lines.
