I had to have my cheek implants removed because one of them kept shifting. I really hate the way I look without the implants so I am considering having them put back in again. Are there any risks for having this area worked on a third time? I don’t want to cause any permanent damage.
I have seen cheek implants shift in their location when not fitted properly in the face or when the cheek implant is not stabilized in the desired location. Continuous movement of the cheek implant would be more unusual. Prior to replacement of the cheek implant I would make sure the pocket that was created to accommodate the implant is well healed. Replacing the implant should not be a problem that would lead to any permanent damage.
