I have a neck that looks thick but I am not a fat person. I would like to have liposuction done on my neck. Does this result in any bruising of the neck? Is there any pain afterwards?
Answer:
Liposuction of the neck is a fairly straightforward procedure with minimal risk and minimal downtime. In the properly selected patients you can have a great deal of contour improvement of your neck with the use of liposuction. You will have some bruising following the neck liposcution procedure and it will last about a week. You will not have any significant discomfort following neck liposuction but, if you do, I prescribe pain medications for your comfort.
