Question:
I’m planning on getting an eyelid lift on both my upper and lower eyelids. Will I be up and walking around immediately after my surgery or will I be recovering for a period of time?
Answer:
Following surgery on both your upper and lower eyelids you will likely experience little pain, however, you can have a decent amount of swelling depending upon the extent of the surgery performed, especially on the lower eyelids. Although you may feel fine after only a day or two following your four lid blepharoplasty, the swelling and discoloration may take up to two weeks to resolve appreciably.
