People do rave about their chemical peels because they are very effective. Depending upon the depth and strength of the chemical peel being performed the effects will vary. My aestheticians perform a variety of light chemical peels often times in combination with microdermabrasion. Our new VI peel is extremely popular. I perform deeper peels for more significant skin damage. The effects of light chemical peels can be appreciated for months and with deeper peels the results can last for years. Please keep using your sunscreen as nothing will maintain your appearance if you are still seeing a significant amount of sun.
