What anesthesia is used for a chin augmentation surgery?

Question:
What anesthesia is used for a chin augmentation surgery? How long does the actual surgery take?

Answer:
If you are having just chin augmentation, I prefer to use either local anesthesia with IV sedation or general anesthesia depending upon your preference. The procedure takes about 45 minutes to perform, possibly an hour and your recovery should be relatively uneventful.
