What is a chemical brow lift?

Posted by Dr. Schoenfeld

Working in the aesthetic industry sometimes I forget that not everyone knows what Botox really does.  I was at a party over the weekend and the conversation turned to my favorite,” What really works?”  Every time I am at a party, eventually even my closest friends will ask me something about what can they do to look younger.

Botox, Botox, Botox!  Ok, I don’t really mean that Botox is right for everyone and a certain amount of wrinkles can give you character but Botox probably does give you the most bang for your buck.  Botox can relax the worry lines on your forehead, easy the frown lines between your eyes, soften crow’s feet, and even give your brows a lift.  Some of our clients just come in for what we call a “chemical brow lift.”  It doesn’t replace the real thing but if you aren’t ready for surgery, Botox might be a great solution to your tired looking eyes.

Remember if you want to give Botox a try, it can take up to 5 days before it works so plan ahead if you have a special event. (3-4 days is average)
