Cheek implants are used to give your face more structure. I use cheek implants to increase the size and angles of the midface. I do not use the same size and shape cheek implant in all individuals as cheek augmentation is very patient specific. I have used a great deal of dermal filler more recently for cheek augmentation and my patients have been very pleased with the results while avoiding a more invasive surgical procedure at the same time. The object of cheek augmentation is a more youthful and full face with increase in facial structure.
