I’m a 46 year old man. I typically have very oily skin

Question:
I’m a 46 year old man. I typically have very oily skin which gives my forehead a shiny appearance. I’m thinking about getting a brow lift, but I’m afraid that the swelling following the surgery is going to make my head look even shinier. Is it likely that my brow will look a lot shiner following a brow lift?

Answer:
Male browlifts are a bit more tricky than a browlift in a female because of the inevitable receeding hairline most males experience. The quality of your forehead skin should not really be affected with a browlift. I would suggest discussing skin care including microdermabrasion and chemical peels if you are concerned with the oily, shiny nature of your forehead skin.
