I’m very unhappy with the result of my nose job. The tip looks horribly upturned and I hate it. I’ve waited a full year and want to get this fixed. How is this done?

I am sorry to hear how unhappy you are with the results of your rhinoplasty. I am sure that you invested a great deal of personal energy, time, and money into the decision to have your rhinoplasty and I am also certain that your surgeon is disappointed that you are unhappy with the results. In order to fix what we call an overly rotated nose, a revision rhinoplasty will have to take place. Unlike the Michael Jackson misfortunes that occurred, a revision rhinoplasty in your situation will require adding cartilage to the nose, not removing it. The cartilage that is added to your nose during your revision rhinoplasty will help to downwardly rotate the nasal tip and correct the upturned appearance of the nose.
