My face has aged tremendously this year although I am only 46 years old. I have very pronounced smile lines and would like a facial filler to smooth them out. Is Juvederm recommended for these folds? How long will the procedure take and how long will the effects last?

The smile lines you are referring to are the nasolabial folds along your nose and cheeks. Juvederm is an excellent product to use to help fill in these deep creases. The procedure takes about 10 minutes and with the use of the newer Juvederm with lidocaine, the injections are relatively pain free. The effects of the Juvederm injections will last about 9-10 months at which time a Juvederm touch up is recommended.
