Question:
I’m a 20 year old woman, and I got a rhinoplasty five days ago. I love the shape of my new nose, it’s straighter and smaller and looks great. My only complaint is that now my chin looks weak and washed out, and I’d like to get a chin implant. How long after my rhinoplasty do I have to wait to get a chin implant?
Answer:
I would wait for several weeks following rhinoplasty surgery before undertaking another elective surgical procedure. The reason for this is simply to allow the nose to heal before any potential damage can occur to the nose during your chin augmentation surgery. In this particular situation, I would allow for at least six weeks of healing time following your rhinoplasty before undergoing chin augmentation.
