Over the years, the skin on my face seems to have become several different shades. I am interested in a chemical peel to even out the skin tones on my face. Can I get a chemical peel for this that will also remove some of the finer wrinkles?

Chemical peels are an excellent way to clear the different colors and shades of skin that you are appreciating on your face. This is referred to as dyschromia. Chemical peels can also remove fine lines and wrinkles. Chemical peels come in various forms and strengths. Medium strength chemical peels can remove fine lines and wrinkles and address your skin discoloration quite well. Our estheticians at Renu Med Spa frequently add a light chemical peel to a Microdermabrasion or just use a chemical peel in order to address skin discoloration but not fine lines and wrinkles as effectively. Obviously, stronger chemical peels can address increased skin damage and deeper lines and wrinkles.
