Will I be able to go back to work?

Question:
I have a limited amount of sick days left from work and I’m apprehensive to use too many. How long after my chin implant will I be able to go back to work?

Answer:
Chin implant surgery is not particularly traumatic but, you can have some swelling and chin numbness for several days following the surgery.  If you do not have to go into your place of employment to do your job daily, then you will be able to engage in computer work or telephone work about three days after chin implant surgery.  If you have to meet face to face with clients or your job requires significant physical activity, then I would suggest taking at least a week to recover from you chin implant surgery.
